We’ve recently received news of some very sad information for our industry and more importantly, for some very real people.  A company known as The Chef’s Table, who owns and operates two popular wedding venues in Houston, have filed for bankruptcy.  This leaves pretty much all brides who signed contracts and put down deposits (some 100%) for current and future weddings to be left without a venue.  As if Hurricane Ike wasn’t enough, this has got to be devastating to a lot of brides.  Here’s a link to the ABC Houston story.  So, in following with other vendors and friends in the photography industry, we would like to offer one (1) Tuscany of Garden Oaks or Bella Terraza Bride our photography services, free of charge.

We’ll select one couple (based on our availability for either the remainder of 2008 or 2009) and offer them:

-6 hours of wedding day photography with 2 photographers
-A “Day After” portrait session
-Disc of high resolution negatives
-Password protected proofing

Please send me (jason @ table4photography.com):

-A copy of your contract with Bella Terraza or Tuscany of Garden Oaks
-Your new wedding date/venue
-A description of your situation
-A photo (optional) so we can post who we have selected!

We will select the bride on November 1, 2008.

I know there are several other photographers who are offering the same relief, and I encourage other vendors and wedding professionals to see if they can’t help out in some small way as well.

Thanks to pinkposh and christine tremoulet for leading the way!
