Just a sneak peak from this past weekend’s wedding in Playa Del Carmen…Congrats Tammi and Dan! Thanks so much for having us!

Andrew and I will be out of the country from Thursday, April 23 through Monday, April 27. We will be spending our weekend at a resort in Mexico that has very limited internet access AKA $8 for every 30 minutes. So, we will be spending our time on the beach and shooting a wedding instead of on the internet. If you send us an email during this time, please know that we are not ignoring you! We will return all emails by the end of business day on Tuesday, April 28. In the meantime, enjoy this little slideshow

There’s an old country song by Sammy Kershaw titled, “She Don’t Know She’s Beautiful,” and if I could pick one song to describe this session, that would be it. Karen and Matt are a gawgeous couple and really turned up the heat for their Dallas engagement session. But, they’re not the type of people that flaunt their good looks…they’re both incredibly modest and down to earth…and…borderline goofy. Even though they were both nervous about their shoot, we knew it would be so easy since they looked so good together! We shot in a bunch of different locations, starting with a high school track, a newly renovated Power & Light building (old school Dallas electric company), White Rock Lake, and ending the night on the Mckinney Avenue Trolley. We’re really excited about their wedding in September and can’t wait to see them all jazzed up!

Bonnie contacted us to shoot her wedding, but unfortunately, we were already booked. So, we shot the next best thing: her and Sam’s engagement pictures! They have been together for nearly a decade!…and they’re tying the knot this June. Bonnie said during their whole relationship they have never had professional pictures taken with each other, but I think they are secretly models. What do you think?
I have to admit, after she told me they met at Texas Tech, we were hesitant to work with them (still healing scars from last season’s Tech vs. UT football..incident)…but we mustered up the courage, swallowed our pride and made ourselves smile during the session.
J/k! Bonnie and Sam were so fun to work with and were willing to do whatever we wanted, including going to some barren (and creepy) railroad tracks up in the boonies of Frisco. Thanks again guys! Congrats again and we know you’ll have a gorgeous wedding!

For Becky and Mo’s engagement session we started where the magic (Mo’s proposal) all began. Where is that you ask? The Triangle apartment’s in Austin of course! We also made a pit stop in the SoCo area and got some of our favorite images from the session. Becky also has a bridal session with us this upcoming week and we can’t wait to see how stunning she is in her beautiful dress. See you guys soon for the wedding!
