nylo plano hotel wedding photography business workshop photographed by jason of table4 weddings

Last week, I had the pleasure of joining (and photographing) my friend and fellow Dallas wedding photographer, Stacy Reeves, at her very first workshop at the chic modern NYLO hotel in Plano.  She held a business of photography workshop, which in my opinion, is so important in today’s wedding photography industry, especially with the exponential growth of “overnight professional photographers.”

She definitely has a handle on not just her work, but her business as well.  When we started Table4, Stacy helped guide our first couple of steps to make sure we would be successful.  If it hadn’t been for her, I don’t think we’d be where we are today.  Even with all that help early on, I’m so glad she let me attend her workshop because I learned so much more!

At the workshop, Stacy went over 8 hours of material. From defining your target client, to branding, to the consultation, album sales, bookkeeping, taxes, and much, much more.  If she ever does it again, you won’t want to miss out.  :)

Here’s a collage of what you missed out on!

  • I went to high school with one of the girls in the front row. Ha, small world.

  • SO glad that I was able to take this workshop and soak up Stacy’s knowledge. It was also wonderful to have met you and pick at your brain, too!
