Goodbye 2010!

wedding ring on fire

Hello 2011! (“Ring” in the new year…get it??)

2010 has been an incredible year. So many wonderful moments along with several challenging growth opportunities. After 3 years of doing this, I know I wouldn’t change a single thing. I’ve also come to realize that what I seek most is the challenges. I think when it comes down to it, I am fueled by the creative, fast paced challenge of shooting in new locations, working with different people/cultures, conceptualizing new shots, and the constant opportunity to grow and expand the business of Table4. With 2010 coming to an end, I’m grateful for the moments of joy, many challenges, and the support of family, friends, and clients. I especially look forward to 2011 with a brand new set of challenges, brand new moments, and adding new members to the Table4 family. =)

So, since I’m in a grateful (and giving) mood, I will be putting together an Engagement Season Giveaway/Special. I’m not exactly sure how it will work just yet, but stay tuned all you recently engaged (and about to be engaged) couples!

P.S. I’ll be out of the office until January 5th, so please excuse any delays in returning emails or calls. Have a safe New Year’s Eve and a good weekend everyone!

P.P.S. I just learned how to tie a bow tie! Hello high society!

Susan and Soo’s engagement in Dallas was nothing short of epic. They brought along iconic modern vintage props such as: old black and white photos, fluffy dogs, pearls, Louboutins, Choo’s, classy styling, and a romantic, unrehearsed interaction. These New Orleans natives also bring with them a mysteriously sexy side that I was fortunate enough to witness and capture. I can not WAIT for their bling’ed out wedding with the Queen of Bling herself, Jordan Payne!

First, let me apologize for the lack of blog updates! These last few months been filled with so many weddings, engagements, and traveling that I’ve had to unfortunately neglect my poor little blog. BUT, I’ve got a tiiiinny little window of free time in January and I promise to get my blog caught up in no time!! P.S. I’ve got stuff from AUGUST I haven’t blogged yet (…is it really already December?)

Secondly, I wanted to take a moment and thank all my clients from 2010 for being such an incredible blessing to my company and my life. You guys are truly the reason I love my job so dang much. Thank you for laughing with each other, being intimate with each other, and most importantly, for allowing me to photograph every little detail and nuance of your relationship.

Thirdly, I’d like to thank my support system: family and friends who continually support me throughout the last 3+ years. Your words, comments, likes, and encouragement (small and big!) have sustained me and continue to be the foundation I depend on to pursue my passion with such desire.

Lastly, Happy Holidays everyone! I hope you’re fortunate enough to spend it with the people you love and remember the blessings in your life. Cheers to 2011!

Unbelievable! Seeing this wedding printed in a MAGAZINE is so surreal to me! Congrats to Katie and Jeff for being the awesome and snazzy couple chosen among hundreds (if not thousands!) of weddings The Knot had to go through! Top 20! (cue “Woo! girls”)
