DALLAS WEDDING

Talk about an East meets West party! Ankita and Danny’s wedding reception at the Saffron House in Addison was a mashup of Indian and American cultures. Just look at these two details: Peacock feathers and Sprinkles cupcakes. 🙂

The Saffron House provided this incredible feast for Ankita and Danny’s guests.  How can you not eat well with this kind of food???

Ankita wore some gorgeous details, from the henna to her bracelets.

Though the food was delicious and the speeches were touching, we were really only there to dance.

If you ever want to learn how to dance the traditional Indian dance, just think, “Turn the doorknob, Screw in the lightbulb.”

Luckily, we were able to grab a few portraits of them right before they left. 🙂

Gotta give a shoutout to my fill-in 2nd shooter and friend, Lynette, for helping out as well!  She came since it was a smaller engagement, allowing Andrew to stay in Austin for a weekend. 😉  She’s a great photographer in the Dallas area as well and I’m just glad I’m able to rely on people like her whenever we need it.

P.S. Did you know Addison has one of the highest restaurants per capita in the nation?
